Tilt and the Steps Tourneys

Wow, I just watched ESPN's new show "Tilt," being from the makers of Rounders and ESPN (who have done an amazing job with the WSOP) I had high hopes for the show. I was sadly dissapointed, the show was pure crap. Seriously the hot poker chick was the only redeeming factor that I can think of.

I have the same shirt as the main character too. American Eagle $15.

Anyway, I'll probably watch it anyway, if only to make fun of it on my blog.

I finished a couple STEPS multi tourney's up, busting out in 3 out of 4 (2 on coinflips, the other when shortstacked). The other one I actually won with some of my better hands and rocketed to 1st place where I stayed until the end. The play is horrible. At the second level I got impatient and blew my stack, forced to push relatively early and lost a coinflip that would have put me back above average.

Looking at the Steps I think making it through level 2 is going to be the hard part, and then making the money on the final tourney. For even only taking fourth place though, assuming you somehow made it the whole time without hitting one of the $30-35 prizes, you get 200 shots for your money. I definately would like to win one of these sometime. I think I'll use it as my break from my 5/10 games.

Anyway, going to get in a couple hundred hands before bed. I'm going to be real busy this weekend and might not get all my hands in for the week, something I want to avoid if possible.
